I’m a big fan of bread sticks and also a big fan of easy weeknight dinner sides!
When Authentic Motor City Pizza Co. offered to let us try their 5 Cheese Bread, I was 100% on board.
As you can see from the box below, Authentic Motor City Pizza Co. makes Detroit-Style Cheese Bread. They also make Detroit-Style Pizza as well. My Walmart only had the Cheese Bread in stock, but I also want to try the pizza at some point.
The 5 Cheese Bread is made with mozzarella, parmesan, asiago, romano and cheddar cheeses and a parmesan cheese sauce.
One of the nice things about this cheese bread is that it comes in a disposable pan that goes right in to the oven. You don’t have to get another pan dirty to make these.
Once you take the plastic wrapper off the pan of cheese sticks, you just stick them on the center rack of the 425 degree oven and bake for 15-18 minutes. That’s it. So easy.
The good news is that they tasted as great as they look!
I served them with some pasta sauce for dipping. They are thick and soft and cheesy and garlicky and delicious. The parmesan cheese sauce under the layer of cheese is fantastic and adds a lot of flavor.
My 20 year old daughter said “They were super good. We could have eaten the whole thing in one sitting.” She was right. We didn’t, but we wanted to. So there you have it. We both gave these a big thumbs up and will be adding them to our menu on a regular basis.
According to the Authentic Motor City Co. website, their products are sold at Walmart, Costco, Wegmans, Sam’s Club, Target, Kroger, H-E-B, Meijer, Family Fare, VG’s, D&W Fresh Market, Weis, Schnucks, Spartan and Jewel locations.
